We specialise in designing right through to installation of gardens both great and small.

The most practical way to approach this personalised service is for us to visit you at home to discuss your ideas.

The first meeting is free of charge, usually lasting up to an hour. It is a perfect time to talk about your dream garden. By the end of this meeting we should have a very good idea of what form you would like your garden to take, from which design procedures and charges can then be agreed.

The next stage in the design process is a site visit to do the survey. This usually takes 1-3 hours, and involves measuring up, taking levels, sketching and photographing the site. This survey is then used to draw up a base plan of what the existing site looks like and the elements within it.

Several sketch proposals are then drawn and overlaid on the baseplan. These are rough ideas, and a starting point for discussion at our second meeting. This is often the first time you will see all the ideas translated onto paper. You may love one proposal, or like elements of all of them.

The next meeting is when most clients approve the design. The proposal is then inked up as a design drawing. The final design is then used as a basis for all the more detailed designs – pergolas, planting plans, bespoke features such as fountains, mosaics, sculpture, etc.

Once all the drawings are approved by the client and most of the elements have been decided, the costing for the project is finalised. Our team of skilled hard landscapers will then build your garden according to the agreed design.
